Home & Community Based Services
The Staff of Responsive Caregivers of Hawaii designs practical daily activities and skill development plans that fit the individual needs of each participant.
Adult Day Health Program
At our adult day health program, we do our best to make our participants feel like home. Our tastefully decorated facilities offer a safe and inviting setting. The participants will find themselves occupied with various activities such as art & crafts, gardening, music, cooking, karaoke, and games.
Our paramount goal is to help individuals develop meaningful relationships with other citizens of their community. To achieve this goal, we accompany participants to parks, beaches, shopping malls, and other special community events at least three times a week.
Hot meals and snacks with significant nutrition are served to every participant and are monitored by nutritionists and physicians. Transportation is also provided at no additional cost.
Personal Assistance services are developed to empower the participantsí abilities in conducting daily-living activities, which include:
- Eating, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing
- Meal preparation
- Laundry and housing keeping
Supervision and assistance are provided to each participant in a one-to-one arrangement.
The service is aimed to help the participants improve or acquire self-help skills for daily living activities, including household chores, food preparation, shopping, and socialization. Professional supervision from well-trained staff is provided to every participant.
This temporary care is designed for individuals whose parents or guardians are absent. Under supervision from registered nurses, our direct support workers provide friendly respite care to the participants.
